Training and Development

We are developing a comprehensive series of training and develoment services aimed to help our members develop their businesses.

There is no doubt that the most effective companies are those that ecourage and develop their employees to improve their skills and knowledge. We know that for many companies that often proves an expensive exercise.

This is particularly the case for medium and smaller companies. Large organistaions often have the luxury of dedicated training departments or can hire in a trainer for the day. Smaller companies - even quite large "smaller" have to send their employees on expensive public courses. 

For that reason we will be making it possible for members to access a wide range of training at a fraction of the cost at which they would normally be available.

The nature of the training and development will be fairly varied and will include:

• Formal training on matters such as First Aid or Health and Safety.
• Online training on IT skills and such like 
• Workshops on Business Development, marketing, sales etc
• Informal evening sessions aimed at owners, directors and senior mangers designed to stimilate thinking - and to socialise!

Its up to you!

How many of these and how the develop is up to you - the members - contribute your ideas and support them and they will increase in number.

And if we are really succesful we can extend them to non-members and to people outside our immediate catchment area, we will then charge them more as non- members and subsidise you.
