An Introduction to health and Safety
A more comprhensive guide than the leaflet above.
Health and Safety law is far less onerous than many would have you believe. It is almost always common sense and where we hear the more stupid examples they are almost invariable the result of an over-zealous official or other authority interpreting them in a particularly stupid way.
Read this and then apply the rules with commonsense (and a little bit of thought) and your employees will be safer, healthier and happier and you are unlikely to fall foul of the law even if an accident does occur.
